Managing Your Team's Shopping Cart: A Step-by-Step Guide

Introduction: This tutorial provides a comprehensive guide on managing your team's shopping cart within the USSSA University event management system. This system allows for easy management of unpaid event entries and facilitates seamless payment processes.

Logging In:

  1. Access Your Dashboard: Start by logging into your manager dashboard at the USSSA as a University e-commerce platform.

  2. Navigate to Your Team: Locate and select your test team to view your current shopping cart contents.

Reviewing the Shopping Cart:

  1. Examine Cart Contents: Check the items currently in your shopping cart, which may include entries for events you have not yet officially entered but have added to your cart for consideration.

  2. Proceed to Checkout: If ready, click the checkout button to initiate the payment process for all items in your cart.

Managing Cart Items:

  1. Selective Payment: Use the down arrow to move specific items (e.g., entry fees or team gate fees) to the 'Saved for Later' section if you prefer not to pay for them immediately.

  2. Remove Items: To withdraw from an event entirely, use the corresponding down arrow to move the event's fees to 'Saved for Later', then click the 'X' to remove them from your cart entirely.

Making Payments:

  1. Checkout Individual Items: After adjusting your cart as needed, hit checkout to pay for the remaining items. Adjustments might include removing certain fees or transferring items to 'Saved for Later'.

  2. Enter Payment Information: Fill out your credit card details in the payment processor page to complete the transaction.

Managing Entries for Entered Events:

  1. View Events and Make Payments: From your dashboard, select the option to view your events and make payments. This feature allows you to manage payments for events you've entered but not yet paid for.

  2. Adjust Shopping Cart for Entered Events: Add entry and gate fees for desired events to your cart. You can manage these items just like any other shopping cart item, including saving for later or removing them if needed.

Additional Notes:

  • Important Reminder: Removing an item from your cart does not withdraw your team from an event. To officially withdraw, you must contact the event's tournament director.

  • Flexibility in Payment Management: The system's robustness offers flexibility in how and when you manage and make payments, ensuring you can secure your entry into events on your terms.
