Adding or Removing a Division from an Existing Event: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access Event

  1. Log In: Navigate to your DC.USSSA account and log in.

  2. Select Event: Find the event you wish to modify by accessing your event list.

Step 2: Using the Multi Division Editor to Add a Division

  1. Navigate to Division: Locate and select the division you wish to copy or use as a template for the new division.

  2. Multi Division Edit: At the division's footer, click on "Multi Division Edit" to open the editing menu.

  3. Copy Division: Use the copy button within the multi-division editor to initiate creating a new division.

  4. Set Division Details: Fill in the new division's details, such as class (e.g., changing from 14A to 14 Open), start/end dates, entry fee, and maximum entries. Adjust attributes as necessary.

  5. Save: Once all information is correctly set, click "Save" to generate the new division.

Step 3: Removing a Division

  1. Division Edit: Access the multi-division editor as described above.

  2. Remove Division: Click the red trash can icon next to the division you wish to remove. Ensure there are no teams, payments, or schedules attached to the division before removal.

Alternative Method for Adding a Division

  1. Action Item Menu: For the division you wish to duplicate, click on the action item menu and select "Create similar division."

  2. Review Information: The system pre-fills information based on the original division. Make necessary adjustments for the new division, like changing the class to "Open" if needed.

  3. Finalize: Review all details across the tabs and hit "Save changes" to add the new division to the event.

Alternative Method for Removing a Division

  1. Empty Division: Ensure the division has no teams, payments, or scheduled games.

  2. Action Item Menu: Go to the division you want to remove and select the option to remove it from the event through the action item menu.
