This guide will help you set up your USSSA email account on your phone using the correct settings for incoming and outgoing mail servers.
Prerequisites
Your USSSA email address and password
Access to your phone's email settings
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Go to Email Settings
Open the email app on your phone.
Go to the account settings section to add a new email account.
2. Select Account Type
Select the “Other” option (do not choose Exchange).
3. Enter Your Email Information
Name: Your name (e.g., Angela Stephens)
Email: Your USSSA email address (e.g.,[email protected])
Description: A description for the email account (e.g., USSSA)
4. Enter Incoming Mail Server Information
Host Name:
webmail.usssa.com
User Name: Your USSSA email address (e.g.,[email protected])
Password: Your USSSA email password
5. Enter Outgoing Mail Server Information
Host Name:
smtp.usssa.com
User Name: Your USSSA email address (e.g.,[email protected])
Password: Your USSSA email password
Use SSL: Enabled
Server Port: 587
6. Complete the Setup
Save the settings and exit the setup.
Try sending a test email to ensure the settings are correct.
Troubleshooting Tips
If you are unable to log in, verify your username and password by logging in at USSSA Webmail.
Make sure you are using the correct email type (“Other” option).
